Cycloop connects to the Key Fob from home

If you keep your bicycle near your home, within 50 meters (160 ft) - make sure the Key Fob and device do not keep a Bluetooth connection between them. If they do then the alarm will not start until the bicycle is out of connection range.

If your bicycle is outside and the Key Fob is inside, the connection range can vary from a few meters to 30 meters (100 ft) as walls and other objects can impact connectivity.

Luckily the Key Fob range can now be reduced.  This will allow you to make sure the Monimoto and Key Fob are not connected when you park your bicycle near your home or office.

To reduce Key Fob signal range, park your bicycle, put your Key Fob in the place where you usually keep it. 

Go to Settings -> Connect -> Key Fobs and slightly reduce the distance.

The Key Fob will restart and you will be able to see if the Key Fob still connects. If it still connects, reduce the range again until the Cycloop device is no longer linked to the Key Fob. 

Note. Reducing the distance increases the chances of a false alarm being triggered while riding your bicycle.
