Remember - you only need to connect via Bluetooth if you want to change settings. Device does not need a constant Bluetooth connection and once paired communicates with the Key Fob or Cloud server on a daily basis.
If you cannot connect to paired Cycloop from Settings tab, first make sure that you are connecting within a reliable Bluetooth range, e.g. 1-5 meters from the device.
Note: If you had false alarms for a prolonged amount time and received a lot of location updates, your battery could be empty and that could cause the issue.
Android
If your Cycloop has already been paired with your phone before and now you are trying to connect to it via Bluetooth, please make sure that Bluetooth is turned ON and that the Bluetooth logo is visible in the main toolbar at the top right corner. Also make sure location services is enabled.
If you see an error message at the bottom, the general rule of thumb is to restart the Bluetooth on your phone by switching it off and back on, and try to connect again. Some phones need multiple attempts to connect.
Another possible reason - it might be that your Cycloop has been restored to its default parameters.
Delete your device from the device list
Once you delete it, pair the device as you did the first time.
iPhone/iOS
If your Cycloop has already been paired with your phone before and now you are trying to connect to it via Bluetooth, please make sure that Bluetooth is turned ON and that the Bluetooth logo is visible in the main toolbar at the top right corner.
Another possible reason - it might be that your Cycloop has been restored to its default parameters. In this case, you will need to delete your device from the device list.
Once you delete it, pair the device as you did the first time.
